Buy Green Energy

Buy Green Energy; A Renewable Resource

Did you know that electricity is one of the worst industrial polluters in the country? This may come as a shock to some, since we don’t even think about it in our daily lives. We take energy for granted, which is why we need to stop polluting and buy green energy before the finite resources we do take for granted are gone. What are the resources we have now that can change our lives? It is simple; they are right under our noses every day:

1. Wind.
2. Solar.
3. Bio-energy.
4. Geothermal.
5. Hydro-electric.

What does each of these resources mean in order for us to buy green energy? Wind is easy, the wind blows every day. Having wind turbines creates energy from the wind. Solar is from our sun. Bio-energy is from trees and plants. Geothermal is clean energy from underground and hydro-electric is from water. The impact to our environment lessens with each one that we use and so it is important to buy green energy. The importance to our lives, our health and our future demand it.

Buy Green Energy

Our biggest producers of pollutants and our greatest impact on the Earth: Fossil fuels and Nuclear Power. Fossil fuels create sulfur dioxide, which creates acid rain. Carbon dioxide is trapped in our atmosphere and is believed to create global warming. Nuclear power doesn’t create acid rain, but it creates nuclear waste and this has to be disposed of somewhere. We need to start some place and that one place is to buy green energy. A renewable resource we can live with and bring a better outlook to our future on this planet. At this point, you are probably wondering what you, as an individual can do.

It’s easy, get involved and read up on how you can buy green energy. The more you learn; the more you know. Call your local representatives, contact your local utility company, and talk to those around you.

You can make a difference when you buy green energy. With such a renewable resource, how can you go wrong? If you are still wondering how much of an impact this makes just consider how much of an impact depending on fossil fuels has done. If you’re local utility company hasn’t stepped up to the plate and offered renewable certificates or the ability to buy green energy, and then ask them why. Get informed and help others to do the same. Go green with power. Buy green energy.
